It's Monday! What Are You Reading (12)

"It's Monday! What Are You Reading?" is a weekly meme brought to you by BookJourney. Each Monday, you get to share book or books you're currently reading and what you plan on reading this week with the rest of the book blogosphere. When you've finished your post, go to BookJourney, and add your post's link to the link up tool. Readers of YA and teachers can also share their link on the link up tool on Teach Mentor Texts.

It's been quite a while since my last It's Monday post. I'm sorry about that. I kind of went blog crazy in December. Things might look a little crazy this week, but trust me on this one... I am going to read all of these books.

Books I'm Currently Reading:

  • Zac & Mia by A.J. Betts - I got this one from NetGalley a long time ago, and now that I have a Kindle, I can finally read it without hurting my eyes! I'll have a review for it posted as soon as I'm done reading it.
  • Crossing the Ice by Jennifer Comeaux - I'm listening to this one for an upcoming blog tour post, so look out for a review.
  • Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year by Demi Lovato - I figured that the new year is the perfect time to start this book. I'll be reading a page a day to coincide with her 365 pages of mantras and advice. Look out for a review next year!
  • Lauren Conrad: Beauty - I bought this during the Book Outlet Black Friday Sale, and I've been reading a chapter or two every few nights. I'm not sure if I'll review it on my blog, but I'll probably post a short review on Goodreads.
So that's what I'm reading and listening to this week. As always, feel free to let me know what you think or what you're reading in the comments, and if you want me to check out your It's Monday post, let me know!

  1. Hey Hard Cover Lover aka Erin! I'm new to your blog, but all these books sound fantastic! I have seen Demi's new book everywhere, but I haven't brought my self to read it. Maybe next year...:) Great post!

    1. Hello, Erica! Welcome! :)

My sister read it when I bought it in one sitting, and I know I could do that, but it seems more special to read a page a day.

  2. Wow, Erin! Can you believe I haven't heard of a single one of these books? It's so funny how we sometimes get locked into books for a particular age group or audience and aren't really aware of books outside of our zone. Thanks for sharing these picks!

    1. You haven't heard of a single one? Wow. To be honest, I hadn't heard of Crossing the Ice until a review opportunity came up.

      You're welcome! :)

    1. Oh wow! I know that Zac & Mia didn't really get a lot of attention, but I really thought more people knew about the Demi Lovato book.
